🎍 お正月
Date: January 1–3
お正月は、日本でいちばん大切な行事のひとつです。
家族と過ごし、新しい年をお祝いします。
New Year’s is one of the most important holidays in Japan. People spend time with family and celebrate the start of a new year.
🛕 初詣
Date: January 1–3
初詣は、新年に神社やお寺に行き、
一年の健康や幸せを祈る習慣です。
“Hatsumode” is the first shrine or temple visit of the year, where people pray for health and happiness.
🍱 おせち料理
お正月に食べる特別な料理です。
ひとつひとつの料理に意味があります。
Osechi is a traditional New Year’s meal. Each dish has a special meaning, such as health or good fortune.
よくあるおせち料理：
黒豆・数の子・えび・だてまき
🧧 お年玉
お正月に、子どもが大人からもらうお金です。
“Otoshi-dama” is money given to children during New Year.
✍️ 書き初め
新年に、今年の目標や好きな言葉を筆で書きます。
“Kakizome” is a New Year tradition of writing goals or words with calligraphy.
