日本語にほんごには、「本ほんや文章ぶんしょう、作品さくひんを作つくった人ひと」を表あらわす言葉ことばがいくつかあります。ここでは、「著者ちょしゃ」「筆者ひっしゃ」「作者さくしゃ」の違ちがいについて、説明します。

In Japanese, there are several words to describe someone who created a book, text, or artistic work. This article explains the differences between “chosha”, “hissha”, and “sakusha”.

✍️ 著者ちょしゃ / chosha

意味いみ：
その本ほんを書かき表あらわした人ひと。

The person who wrote and published the book.

使つかうとき：
書籍しょせき・専門書せんもんしょ・参考書さんこうしょなどの正式せいしきな出版物しゅっぱんぶつに使つかいます。書店しょてんや図書館としょかんでもよく使つかわれます。

Used for formal or academic publications such as books, professional texts, or reference materials. Also common in bookstores and libraries.

例文れいぶん：
「この本ほんの著者ちょしゃは東京大学とうきょうだいがくの教授きょうじゅです。」

The author of this book is a professor at the University of Tokyo.

📝 筆者ひっしゃ / hissha

意味いみ：
その文章ぶんしょうや本ほんなどを書かいた人ひと。

The person who wrote the text or article.

使つかうとき：

• 新聞しんぶん・意見文いけんぶん・エッセイなどで「自分じぶんの考かんがえを書かくとき」に使つかいます。
• 「私わたし（筆者ひっしゃ）は〜と思おもう」のように、自分じぶんを指さすときにもよく使つかわれます。
• JLPT（日本語能力試験にほんごのうりょくしけん）の長文読解ちょうぶんどっかいでも、筆者ひっしゃの意見いけんや考かんがえを読よみ取とる問題もんだいがよよく出題しゅつだいされます。

Used for writers of opinion pieces, essays, or articles. In the JLPT reading sections, you are often asked to understand what the writer thinks.

例文れいぶん：
「筆者ひっしゃはこのテーマてーまに強つよい関心かんしんを持もっている。」

The writer has a strong interest in this topic.

🎨 作者さくしゃ / sakusha

意味いみ：
（詩し・小説しょうせつ・歌うたなどの）作品さくひんをつくった人ひと。

The person who created a work such as a novel, poem, or song.

使つかうとき：
小説しょうせつ・漫画まんが・映画えいが・アニメなど、創作的そうさくてきな作品さくひんを作つくった人ひとに使つかいます。

Used for creators of fictional or artistic works such as novels, manga, films, and anime.

例文れいぶん：
「『となりのトトロ』の作者さくしゃは宮崎駿みやざきはやおです。」

The creator of “My Neighbor Totoro” is Hayao Miyazaki.
